Agora is an internet technology and development organization. Our services include design and programming of websites, copywriting, e-commerce integration, database administration, and the configuration of internet software and hardware for our customers.

Design

Agora's designers are actively involved with the development of websites and multimedia presentations.

Ideally, you have experience with some, or all, of the following: graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, and other CS3 apps), web design, XHTML, CSS, Flash/Actionscript, traditional print media. You may even have a knack, or interest, in web related programming including JavaScript, DOM, Ajax, PHP, or Ruby. You either possess a degree in graphic design/media arts or have solid talent. You are creative, artistic, and thrive on challenges.

Technical

Agora's technical staff is actively involved with the development of web applications and the implementation of internet technology.

Ideally you have experience in some of the following: programming (preferably PHP, Ruby, C, Perl, Python, or JavaScript/Ajax), SQL database queries (on MySQL, Oracle or DB2), and experience working in a Linux or Unix environment. You may be interested in server support, including server upgrades and enhancements, internet routing, firewall configuration, database support, or web related programming and development. You may even have a knack or interest in ActionScript 3.0 (Flash) and PHP coding within Flash applications. You enjoy technical work and are very organized.

Account Management

Agora's account managers actively facilitate the interaction between clients and project groups. You have a background in sales or marketing in a manufacturing environment and have an interest in online marketing or you have experience working for an advertising agency.
